Storing plano lure boxes

Ok, after watching some of my lures "expand and crack the paint" in the plano boxes I had sitting on the floor of the boat on the weekend, I opened up the plano box and checked the heat. It was so hot the lures were almost to hot to hold. This was on a day where it was by no means uncomfortable.

So I figure I need to be storing these lure boxes under cover, to keep the sun off them.

Do they make bags for the big lure boxes? I've got one for my small lure boxes that works really well, holds 5 lure boxes.

Yeah you can buy cheapies from BigW and the like for $30-40 but most include 4 boxes.

Yeah Feral they do make them, I have 1. I'll see if I can find the serial # for you.

have a look at the fabric cool bags. They work quite well. I have one that holds 9 trays.

Check the number on your box's Plano usualy have a bag to match

I ahve the same bag as chubstar, however i've found the plano boxes crap to store as they are in the pick. Hooks and swivels etc get all mixed up as the lid is a bit loose. Since replaced with shimano boxes and no drama.
