Just to save a few tonnes of carbon don't bother going to the fishing tackle sale at the Ekka Grounds. Unless of course you wish to purchase absolute shite at stupid prices.

E.g. Buy this rod tube, normally up to $150, today at $40.

Buy this surf rod made of cardboard, normally a gzillion dollars, yours today for only $60.

However, they are selling 1000m of 400lb line for only $100. As the add says that's only $0.10 a metre

just got back from the sale...did pick up a water pack back thingy (like those camel baks) for 30 bucks..wasnt too bad....and heaps of glow sticks for the squid fishing nxt winter...

yeah I picked up one of those at the Anaconda Logan sale. Black Wolf, 3L, $26. Score.

lol black wolf over that heap of shit anyday, went spent 10mins their bought 1 of those $5 rod holders, very dodgy, bought 1 of those $6 knifes not bad for the price. All in all pretty shit, the lures for $4 i wouldnt even bother taking them out of the packet. Very dodgy and shit hooks aswell.
