manly ramp closed

Just heard that the boat ramp at manly will be closed from the 9th march for 8 weeks for upgrading .The one near the coast guard.

i smell a rat here, sure the ramp is old, but never had a problem with it.it must be some back scratching, as the new building there has a walkway that now takes up all the room to beach your boat, suppose the public ramp's not good enuff for the likes of them, also heard it's something to do with fisheries, can anybody confirm this.

I agree there wasn't anything wrong with it except maybe a little shallow on a very low tide, there are plenty of other ramps that need urgent attention
