not a bite?

Hey, im quite new to fishing in the brisbane river but i am wondering how often people fish and get nothing... no catches not even bites, nothing!

I went out yesterday @ jindalee and got zero.... tried fresh bait (prawns and squid) and a few sp (not that ive ever caught anything with one yet - but the fact everyone onthis site uses sucessfully gives me hope)

It happens often, the river is a transient place, they are either there or not.

Might be a bit early yet, but in a few weeks should be good up that way.

My brother caught a threadie at indro at dead low tide, so its time and place, they are there, just maybe not biting at your spot yet.

davefishmad,low tide is the most common time to catch threadies as they prefer the slack tide.

i have been to jindalee pontoon at DFO 10 times over the last 6 months always catch something.been to kooka and collages 50 time each or more ,1 day it's on the next day it's off.sometime it's hit and miss just keep trying diff stuff .and keep trying.

Pretty good stuff - Not anything ultra huge... But u can get some stuff.
