Seized crabs in shultz?

I was told today from a bloke that has lived in the area most his life that when fisheries/police seize crabs from people with too many they get released in shults....

That is probably in reference to the confiscation of black market live muddies. I've heard of chiller vehicles being intercepted on their way south presumably from a tip off. I've seen the fisheries guys bust people for undersize fish, and they made the culprits return them to the water on the spot, even the dead fish.
