im chasing a good charter for a mate of mine that runs out of the goldie..

whats the best few companys??

Not sure about the Gold Coast but best off sticking with small operator's. Someone like Smithy SQCS would be a good bet. Going on any of the cattle truck chraters that take 10+ people you run a real risk of being stuck out there with several drunken d!ckheads that carry on like idiots and tangle up everyones lines.

Well im going out with Fish The Deep Charters at Southport on Saturday for a 10 hour trip so i'll let ya know how that goes mate.

Yeah def Smithy from SQCS as he is mobile from hervey bay to gold coast. He fishes the species that are relevant to the time of year and only takes 3 people on board on Stabicraft so its very comfy fishing. Only been with Smithy once and was more than impressed! I will be doing monthly trips with him wihtout hesitation. Next one is 2 weeks jigging for kingies and AJs :woohoo:

And from reading the topic on out there charters i would say no to that :ohmy:

What's the pricing like for a berth with smithy?
