Baitfish Identification...

Hey Boys,

Okay so there are 4 types of baitfish I always get when I throw my cast net.. Poddy Mullet, Herring and two I have no idea about.. One is small, (maybe a silver biddy) almost translucent - nightmare to get out of the net and the other is bream like with a longer snout and lips.. Anyone know what's what?

Lastly does anyone know any consistent spots to net mullet at the Goldy.. Tried the Broadwater pontoons and they are very hit and miss at the best of times. Mainly just the latter two unidentifiables and the odd herring but I'm really keen on some mullet.

First fish is a Glass Perchlet/Glassfish (either Ambassis agassizii or A. marianus)

Second fish would be a Silver biddy (Gerres subfasciatus)

The last one I call Moreton Bay Herring.

Try the Nerang river boat ramp just near the M1. I have been successful there before but haven't tried there for a while.
