Tweed River Bream

Took the kayak out today with a mate who just got a Hobie. Proud to say i smoked him. 19 - 3. All bream. My biggest for the day was 32 to the fork. 9 of them were legal. Dropped them all back though. Got them all on White Pillies....

Left all my jig heads at home and lost the first on the second cast. Tried hard bodies with out success.

I will be back there soon, a great summer morning bream session.

if you got 19 without one, imagine how many you'd catch in a Hobie !

32cm is a solid fish, what area were you fishing?

I dont know the tweed to well. But it was down river from The large boat ramp on Kennedy Dr.

thats a decent session, i caught about six legals in under an hour in between the last two red bouys before you head out to the mouth at a land based spot of the rock walls, biggest was very solid at 36cm, tweed usually always produces bream if you know where to go even better if your in a tinnie or kayak
