Wivenhoe/Somerset fishing

going to head up to Wivenhoe/Somerset Dams tomorrow with a couple of mates for some land based fishing and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions/hints & tips as to where to go, bait/lures/plastics to use and all that good stuff. I have never been up there fishing before and have only ever been saltwater fishing.

All advice would be greatly appreciated

I've only been there twice, the last time was over 5 years ago so my information may not be relevant much. I think we were camping at Kirkleigh and once we entered the camp ground we turned left and fished right there, like a little arm part of the dam.

Caught yellowbelly, bass and catfish all on worms fished on the bottom. Didnt have any live shrimp but im sure that would account for more fish.
