queensland tinnie and tackel show

Was going to buy a new bream outfit this week, but have been informed the tinnie and tackel show is on this weekend. I have never been before and was wondering if it is worth holding off until visiting the show? I know exactly what i want, maybe i can pick it up fromn there for cheaper?

mate i would not they have buggar all tackel there its more a small boat show,a lot of cheap crap though.

Just had a scan of the exibitors and All Round Angler from Caboolture seems to be the only tackle store there. There always is a few others flogging stuff of dubious quality there.

A lot of the usual marine dealers such as LRM and Springwood marine have gone out of the tackle side of things but others such as Cunninghams and Northside usually have a few goodies.

Good to walk around and see some of the latest boating gear and to compare prices if you are in the market for boating gear.
