Planing on hitting up Cabbage tree around the pontoon/boat moorings for a session around an hour prior to the peek of the high tide and for a few hours after it turns if anyone is interested in joining me let me know..

High tide looks around 13:50ish so thinking of gettin there around 12:30. more than welcome to come for a fish mate, i even made up some burley as well to drop in. have a new rod and cast net as well.

Yeah will be tomorrow, will be tryin a few different spots during the week as i have a week off and im a fishing addict now... ended up with a shimano raider in the barra model around 6ft2 nice and whippy but should be able to handle anything i come across and topped it with my Abu Garcia ambassueder 6500 c3 tribute overhead reel.

Well headed up for the session and arrived around 12:20 , procceded to set up and cast around for some live bait after around 5 casts had enough prawns,had a few really tiny nibbles turned out to be toadies, flicked a lure around for hours to no avail around all the structure i could find, and also broke the damn lure will have to replace all the hooks as landed a smelly sock and the pliers just bent all the trebles trying to extricate said smelly sock from the lure... so once again i have turned out a donut( will have to look at changing my user name to Donut King).

im free all week unless work calls but i'll have notice, either hitup the river with some livies chill with a few cold ones.. or get down to the coast and flick around for some trevally! chyeaa
