brag mat?

just a quick question.... are the shimano 'Brag Mats' ok to use for this Saturday or do you have to purchase a NSW DPI jobby?

too true Travis, just thought i read somewhere that they were the ones we had to use.... anyway good stuff, the money i save on a new brag mat i can spend on more tackle ;(

only reason i got a brag mat a nsw 1 is cause i entered the SSO last year.

other wise i will still be using a 2$ tape measure.

From Standard Event Terms and Conditions:

All photo entries to be eligible must include in the same photo:

* the whole fish shown

* a pre-approved measuring device (ask at the pre-fish Briefing at Event HQ to find out if yours is allowed (eg brag mat etc) with clear reading of the millimetre measurements

* your Competitor Number (given to you at the pre-fish Briefing at Event HQ)

* the event's Unique Item (given to you at the pre-fish Briefing at Event HQ)

So as long as it has clear millimetre measurements then it will be fine. If in doubt just ask one of the Event Team about your measuring device when you report to get your Competitor Number. But most brag mats, rulers etc are fine
