Just a reminder to everyone.

There is only about 3.5 Days left until the early bird special for the 2010 State Of Origin expires. While the initial escalation in price is not drastic ($10) if you know you are attending anyway it would be a shame to miss out!

Please ensure if you have sent through your details already that your payments are made by this time as well.

Its shaping up to be a great comp with more registrations than we were expecting at this early stage and an anticipated many more to come :)

For those looking for a place to to stay down there, Ferry Reserve looks like its close if not at capacity. However several AFO members have already kicked off bookings at "Terrace Reserve Holiday Park: http://www.terracereserve.com.au/".

Massey Greene Caravan Park: http://www.masseygreene.com.au/ is another good looking option.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks Mick for that

now just some more questions just cause you guys are too awesome :P me and fishermanfrank are kinda noob since its the first time at a competition...so how is it run? as in, do we fish for the whole 2 and a half days then submit our pictures all at the end ( before 12pm Sunday )? or do we submit the catches daily? if so what time?

cheers,

qbkami

you can submit your photos either way, however we recommend submitting them during the competition at not at the end as this drastically helps alleviate the mad rush that inevitably happens at the end of the comp and. There will be event staff to submit your photos between the hours nominated in the competition information - "The Event HQ will be open from 8am - 12pm each day to report for briefing and submit entries of fish (if you need to turn up outside these hours to be briefed and submit entries you may need to contact an event staff member to ensure someone is around). "

Generally we will be out organising items for the comp after midday or out on the water taking photos of competitors etc, so can't guarantee we will be there outside the stated times

Hope this helps. Any other questions feel free to ask cheers
