About Metal lures and my Catches!!!

Hello again everyone, de to my busy period with the school and work I even hardly found time to go for fishing once or sometimes twice a week.

I want to know which is the best lure for Mackerel,tailor,steel-back salmon ???

By the way as Im new here (QLD, Yeppoon), I recently became familiar with catches here.

I recently caught 1 Steel-Back fish only 1 time last week which look and taste exactly like tailor except its scales and smaller head (as most of you know).

I caught that steelback with HALCO twisted shiny lure (30GR one) with using a pilchard part on the hook of the lure.

I saw ( wasnt sure) quite big tailors or stellbacks following my lure till 1meter distance from the rocks but they dont bite. I also want to catch Mackerels with lures and I will be glad which lure is best for MAckerels.

My lure takes perfect bites if I try without triple hooks but once I put hooks there is again no bites. Even without hooks I catch the fish for few seconds it fights alot even without hooks then ofcourse it leaves.

Only silly fish that was always biting and being caught were the toad fishes.

Here is the photo of the twisted HAlco lure that I use. And I need a trick to hide the triple hooks. I even tried to paint them to red color, I tried to use very small triple hooks, even I tried the trick in the second photo but nothing didnt work except trying without hooks and in that case ofcourse its impossible to get any fish off the sea.

I need some help about this and want to know the type of lure for mackerels please.

Thanks for reading all...

This is the lure that I use:
