Etec oil and suggestions for electric

Hi All,

Just after some advice with regards to where is best to buy the Etec XD 100 oil. I have previously bought a few bottles from different places around bris but find the price can vary alot.....

Also thinking about getting an electric for my quintrex spirit 520(half cab).... as it is a half cab, I guess the best option would be a tiller mount? will mostly be using it around the bay and islands.

Any suggestions and advice would be great.

What will you be using the electric for mate ? Holding position type stuff?

mainly using the electric for sneaking up on certain spots and making sure i have the right drift line going. might use a little for holding.

I've got a 54pd bow mount on my 4.35 sea jay and it seems to do the job well. (Holding position and travelling short distances) Might want to go a size up from that to allow for wind factor with the half cab.

The problem with that is I think you've gotta go to 24v if you go higher than 54pd (please correct me if I'm wrong guys)

I'm not sure what you'd have to do in the way of batteries.

As for the whole transom mount thing, not sure as haven't had much experience with them. I'm sure there are people on here who'll be able to give you more in depth advice.
