Still new to Bris so if anyone wants to go foor a fly fish and has any spots they would be willing to share let me know. Maybe find some nice flats and have a wade for flatties

Mate i cant flyfish.

However im going to get out for a couple of hours Sunday if your keen.

The place ill be going (along Kingsford Smith Drive) has flatties, bream, cod, trevs and more.

I have never seen a fish caught on fly there. But in saying that i have never seen anyone fly fishing there

Point being with all those species available i certainly dont see why not???

..thou.... the mouth of burpengary creek is a great place to target flattys on fly...or even the sunken wall at the mouth of the brisbane river..
