launched an hour before dawn and had a real hard time getting livebait, didn't get a run all morning.started fishing strip baitrs and couldn't even get a catfish??

no baits ripped up by muddies, nothing....till the bloke fishing in a tinny 50 feet away put out a live prawn and it got nailed big time after a mad half hour fight he gaffed and landed the biggest threadfin i've ever seen, it was over 120cm by heaps, i tried to get a photo of it but it was too far away for the fonecamera.

at least they are still there.he said they're allways there, live prawns are the go.

Bummer day mate..good to hear that someone caught something though. That sounds bloody huuuuuuuge. You know you are having a bad day when you can't even catch a cattie.
