Before I go blind from looking at Google Maps - is the Shultz Canal fed via the Brisbane River which in turn is feed by the Wivenhoe...?

And just to confirm, the Pine is fed via North Pine Dam? Is the North Pine open as well i.e. will it be screwed for fishing as well for the next couple of weeks?

the threee are separate kedron brook feeds schultz canal

wivenho the brizzy river

npd feeds the pine so does the southpine river

kedron brook and cabbage tree crk were both in full flood however i drove up the upper reaches of cabbaage tree crk last night and there was allready bait jumping on the surface

also if the Shultz is man made it would be a drainage canal fed by surrounding wetlands and tide.

Looked at Youngs Crossing today and there was a lot of water running, so I assume they still have the gates open on North Pine Dam. The Pine River will be like soup for a while, but there might be some good bass fishing upstream from Petrie.

Thanks good ppl - I'm in the market to play with some bullies this Saturday afternoon/evening... where would be my best option? I was looking towards Strathpine area of the Pine or Nudgee Beach.
