ive been putting in a bit of time lately trying for a bullie, maybe not enough though....

what bait did you get him on? I tried the pine a few weeks back with Mullet fillet and got nothing

I caught him on 25lb mono and a 50lb trace.

Bait was a chunk of freshy eel.

Me and fishguts have found that mullet doesn't work too well in the pine aye.

yeah i realised on the weekend how easy it is for me to catch eels from my local creek so i think i will be using that from now on...

yeah they are great reel those got my one for $49 brand new from cash converters, never had any problems with it

I bought mine brand new from big W for $20, I got it cheap as because two of the young blokes who work there were trying to put it on display and didnt know how to spool it properly so it was all bird-nested... I then asked if i could buy it like that for a cheaper price and he put $20 on it. I'm thinking about buying another soon
