Youngs Crossing

Youngs Crossing road was reopened so I went for a look.

Place is a disaster, most trees ripped out, gravel banked up near the access to the picnic area and big gully cut in the launching area.

The creek coming from Kurwongbah didn't fare much better.

I'll take some pics in the morning and post them.

Sounds bad mate. I saw some video of the north pine so i can only imagine what youngs crossing and other areas upstream looked like.

I think it would be worth checking the pool in photo #7 to see if there are any fish in there that could be relocated to the main river so they don't perish as the pool evaporates.
