live bait tank..!

ok so ive been thinking about installing a live bait tank in my boat. the only issue with this is ROOM! and lack there of... when thinking about this i come across an idea.. here we go... on the back of my boat a pod has been installed for the motor to sit on. this pod is about 300mm x300m square box. this box has an inspection cover on top and a bung in the bottom and in no way leaks into the acutall boat. its a complete seporate unit. just wondering if i could turn this into a bait storage tank? cut another small hole on top and have freash water pump threw there. i am unsure if having this 300mm x 300mm box filled with water will cause issues with the motor. (75hp) boat is alluminium.

20 L bucket holes cut in top will do the job fine not fancy but works i know people who swear by it

A good bait tank is as important as anything in a boat and more often than not a good supply of healthy strong live bait will be the difference between a good day and a bad days fishing.
