Hi all, anyone know whether there are any Sooties getting around the Beaudesert/Boonah region? Cousin was doin some work at the new dam and reckons he saw them around there.

Not too sure, but may have been tillies? in the water could be a similar shape/colour...?

Yeah pretty much what I thought, I asked him if they could have been tillies and he was sure they weren't but yeah reckon they might have been, ah well new spot to cull :evil:

There are some at the fishing park near Beaudesert.

But you catch 1000 Jade Perch/Barcoo Grunter for every Sooty.

Shortie got a nice one though and I got a migit one.

Where is this fishing park you speak of Angus? He was pretty adamant they were sooties and he knows what a tillie looks like so escapees maybe? They have supposedly set up fish lifts to dump fish from the creeks into the dam.

EDIT- Is it the ecopark you are talking about?
