hey peoples, im living round parkridge area and wondering if any1 knew of a good spot to flick a few lures, fresh or brackish im not too picky, has to be reasonably close tho as the $$$ seem a bit slow at the mo and would rather spend money on big trips, but the itch needs scratching and carp don't always do it 4 me

give it a go, half the fun is finding your own spots . I've given you a starting point, if the carp are tailing on the surface you can try and tempt them, but the bass have a few days before closed season kicks in

kewl, will give it a try, possibly on wednesday, thought i might try a bit upstream as well (looks fishy on google earth (but where doesnt )) maybe hinds rd or casurina rd both look to have half deacent foot access. I never caught a bass before, any tips??, i got a whole pile of smaller poppers, a few cranks and a few softies, thinking bout buying a net to get a few live baits as well. im assuming bass fishing isn't too different from bream??hrmmm... isn't closed season starting on tues??? might have to be sick for a day

Hey mate closed season starts on the 1st. Not allowed to target or remove a Bass from the water at all.

cant use a castnet in freshwater mate closed season starts on 1st of june
