First Golden

Went down to Tweed last night. Had a good session with some nice tailor and bream on plastics and blades. Another guy got a nice jewie about 60. Only 45cm legal size down there. But the highlight for me was this little golden trev that I caught just after dawn while flicking for bream. Not a big fish, but on 4lb it really screamed. I had to chase it up the river on foot, and with 6lb f/c leader and oyster covered rocks i was a bit worried, until it was safely in the net. Sorry no other photos (the tailor were just average sized choppers)...Dan

Well done on the first Golden mate they're great fun to catch, also i've seen some really big Golden's in the Tweed cruising around in the most unlikely spots.
