Arvo flick at shultz

went for an arvo flick to try and get some fish to put in manni comp he has going.

didnt end up getting much but within 5 minutes of being there i was onto a little flatty going 44cm gave a quick fight and got him in and got a pic.

then it died down a bit and my mate showed up, we flicked some lures for bout 30 more mins then saw all this smoke and we went and had a look at it was a grass fire just starting up

about 20 mins after we got to the fire the rural fire brigade showed up and just asked us if we saw how it started or what happened and they just watched it go on because they couldt get to it to stop it, then about 9 helicopters flew over and just hovered around the smoke watching it all.

Crazy fire, theres always heaps of bottles out that way and old fire rings that people have used, might free up some more bank along th shultz to fish... id be watching a higher concentration of snakes in the area now that they have lost some of their habitat
