Soft plastics off the beach?

Can you use soft plastics offthe beach. If so what type size. I'm heading to north shore this weekend.any advice would be appreciated.

Of course you can

I'd be using something big like minimum 5" armour-shad (Damiki Plastic) - try natural colours?

And i'm sure you'll need a decent jig-head to get it down like 3/8+

to many people using sp of the beach sounds' strange but its quite an effect method of the beach, i suggest larger 3-7inch sp in a varitey of colours in jig head sizes of 1/4 to 3/4 ouce, this should cover most of your bases.

Always different mate, some days they'll hit your average flick-flick off the bottom *pause* then repeat.. other days they'll hit anything just keep mixing it up til something works
