Heading to currumbin

hey everyone,

So the old man and I are going to try our luck this week ( weather permitting, it says thunder storms this week ) at currumbin, however, neither of us have ever fished the water ways there. The old man has only just picked him self up a boat so we are both learners. I was thinking that perhaps some local knowledge of the area couldn't hurt. If you have any ideas of areas we could try that would be great and very much appreciated, we dont want your secret locations but just a general point in the right direction.

That also gets me thinking, Is it a no no to fish in the rain?

There is some good jacks right up the creek as far as you can go with plenty of snags up there to pick from use slabs of fresh mullet or half pilchards and tghten your drag and hang on

Quality, thanks tugger. When using bait like that what size hook would u suggest?
