14/01/12 morning session

Hey guys just wondering if anyone can help me out with some info about early morning session. Some mates and I are heading out this Saturday morning out to probably the mouth of Brisbane river or out to mud, haven't done an early session like this before normally a late night person. Is berleying the go in the mornings or just follow the birds and the chop up? Really not sure what to target in the mornings, obviously new to all this. Any help would be great. Any mackerel about early morning?

Hey there, There have been a few posts lately about mackeral in the bay mainly around the shipping lane markers. As for early morning I think if the bait is around they will be not to far away. I am planing to head over to moreton early sat morning. Fingers crossed on the wind tho.

Hey guys,

The wind is supposed to stay down till midday Sat. Thats under 10knots.

3 of us are going out around 2am to the mouth then out to mud.

I have heard of snapper around but any spotty mac. should be active at sun up!
