Hi guys

I need to get an anchor for my boat

Is it worth getting a sarca manson or rocna compared to old school sand anchor?

Im looking at the self aligning range

Has anyone had any experience with these?

Will be manually handling anchor no winch

boat is 4.5m and will use anchor for various ground mostly sand and mud som rock area

anyhelp appreciated

JOE

Try these much cheaper and pretty much the same, there is a variety of sizes

They look good

Can you buy them in stores anywhere or mail order only?

Also does anyone know some one or where i can get bow roller/sprit welded onto my boat

I have no space to bolt one one so was thinking get sprit part added on

They pulled the sarca through at a lot quicker pace? he did seem kinda biased.

Not saying they are wrong, just looks strange to me.

The rocna looks good but im thinking of trying to weld my own up when i get some time. that said i havent had a huge problem with my cheap sand/mud anchor.

I got a cheap sand one atm if youy bend one of th blades seems to catch alot better

The boat had it already bent when i got it,,, i thought was strange and thought he must havee got it stuck lol

But it looks like it was done on purpose cause it bites alot quicker then my old boats sands anchor

Will take a pic of it tomorow

Rocna Anchor Fail.

They were busted using inferior metals while charging premium prices.

Personally on my big boat, I have Manson Supreme as a primary, a lewmar delta as a secondary and a Sarca as a stern
