Hornibrook Bridge fishing platform

Hey guys,

Had enough of shorncliffe and the drunks, so i thought i might give Hornibrook Bridge fishing platform ago tomorrow. Is it any good. And might i be lucky and bump into a few threadys, bullys and jew

Good chance of bulls,stingrays and maybe a jew......ive only ever heard about sharks , flathead, and the normal peckers being caught off there, i went there once but gee its a walk and a half to get there lol

I agree, it is a long walk out there..... I have only been there once and didn't have much luck at all. Goodluck!

Short platform on redcliffe end is now open, should be good fishing

Long walk lol. My mate caught 85cm Jew off there a couple months ago. Pic was in Qld monthly n

Yep it's a fair hike, did it once to have a look but haven't had the urge to try it again.

Just as happy to flick lures & plastics on the sandbanks when the tide is low.

Also I'd be worried about what's happening to my car!!

Take your pushy. You have a good chance of getting a shark, never seen a thready come from there but there in the pine, so why not? I have also caught plenty of tailor just out from that platform in my tinny so they could be worth a shot. Take a bait jig and ul have plenty of herring in no tine!
