shimano spheros 14000fa and 14000fb?

Hey guys im just wondering if someone could point out the differences in the shimano spheros 14000fa and the shimano spheros 14000fb model???

Fb is just the newer model, this is an extract stolen from another forum;

"New/Improved spool design that supposedly allows the line to be wound more efficiently, resulting in better casting.

New/Updated worm/pinion gear that works with the redesigned spool to lay line better."

There was also a comment that the anti-reverse lever was deleted in the FB.

And another forum mentions that the FA is the better reel with a drag washer upgrade. Google is your friend

Thanks ant , i looked on google but i couldnt really find a great deal on the FA only the FB ..... just looking at finding something powerful to chase landbased macks and tuna and i was looking at the FA model

Yeah well the Spheros is certainly a tough reel, the FA with Carbontex washer upgrade should do the trick and you should get out of it a bit cheaper. I think the upgrade is around the 20-30 buck mark. Just gotta find one

its either a Shimano spheros 14000 model or a Daiwa saltist 6500 ..... feel free to give your opinions on these reels please
