Hey guys,

I went out for a paddle this morning for a shark sesh around goodna in brissy river. Had a few good runs and lost a few nice ones but still getting used of the yak. I caught bullshark on my 6b rod put a good fight up and landed it. 90cmer

Sharking out of the yak is something I will definitely try one of these days but you are a lot keener than I am bringing it on the yak with you, especially with those teeth so close to your toes :S

^^^^Sums up my opinion to But good onya mate, I have caught a couple now off the Hobie and basically dehook them yak side, and never bring them aboard.

I just made a 800kg shark rig and a quick release anchor. time to go for some big sharks on 6lb

anchored, but then i lifted up when i had the shark, but i made it into a quick release this avo so im keen to see how it works.
