Event Length - Do You Prefer?

What is your ideal length of event?

Do family and work commitments make only weekend 2 day events possible?

Or would you (with enough notice) prefer longer length events for more fishing and socialising opportunities.

I think 2-3 day weekend events. Those who can only make one day, only come one day, those who want to stay for the whole package can do so as well!

(edit) Another thaught - maybe the occasional one day event would attract more members who would only be inclined/available to come for one day. Unless you stay in the same accomodation and attend the prize giving new members don't really meet anyone!

one day events are good if they are local ,no travel

three day events are my favourite,especially trips away when everyone camps together for the social aspect

ten day events are good because everyone gets a chance to participate at some stage of the time

Single day events or 3 day weekend events is my preference

Wasn't a fan of the 10 day style event

For estuarine events a short format would be preferable. (1 day)

For offshore events I think a 10 day format is the only way to go as at least you have a good chance of a few good days of weather.

Too many offshore events end up being a complete write off.
