Finally took the kayak out for another trip. This time i made sure that the camera came along for the ride and I got a few pics of the almost compeltely kitted out kayak. Also was lucky enough to catch a couple of fish as well, nothing massive but definately a bit of fun on the light gear.

I have got one of those prawn lures - never done any good on them. they seem to have worked for you. nice session

Cheers mate. I've had lots of success on these lures. These 2 fish were caught fishing the lures top water. But I've also had good success casting them to pontoons and structure and sinking them down.

This is so weird but I know a guy with basically the exact same kayak set up and who went on the exact same trip. But he went like 2 months ago at least so couldn't have been you.
