Victoria Point Boat Ramp

Hi guys,

Thinking of launching from Victoria point boat ramp and was wondering what it's like. Solo launching of a 6.1m fibreglass boat. Does it have a pontoon? Depth ok?

I wouldnt this weekend. Its going to be pretty shallow in the morning with the big tides. That ramp is always busy too With easter.

Pribably be better off using Weinam Creek ramp at redland bay. no pontoon but jetty about 40m walk.Parking will be a problem unless you are early otherwise be prepared for long walk.

Parking inspectors will be on duty at all ramps in Redlands and show no mercy

i always use victoria boat ramp and had no problems, 2 lanes one pontoon/jetty and always have a park specially early in the morning< before sun rise.

Thanks guys,

I ended up using the Weinam Creek boat ramp at Redland Bay which isn't too bad but I crapped myself during the launch when the back trailer wheels dropped off the end of the concrete and onto the lower stepped layer.

I just about beached the trailer on the lip. Retrieving was much better due to more water on the ramp.
