went fishing with my friend Jeryl in the brissie river in the cbd area - started around 11pm - i landed the first fish 10-15cm moses pearch on a 3inch gulp minnow rainbow using 1/16th tube. next fish small bream on the same set up...

was getting heaps of hits on various plastics but no other hook ups on plastics besides the first 2 fish

my friend decided to use some prawn meat... it was instant luck for him.... he was getting a bream on nearly every cast all in 20cm+ size, all these bream felt at least 5cm bigger they were as they were all very stocky...

i changed to prawns as well and better the using the plastics, got a few smallish bream, stuck on a new bit of bait and got something i really didnt expect, a 57com flattie,weighing 1160grms..... deff gonna go to this spot again on monday night and i

will post some pics later when im at home as i dont have access at work to upload pics

yeah quite a few of them were but i only landed undersized ones jeryl caught the majority of the leagl ones - actually in total i think he got at least 10-15 fish and i only managed 4 or 5

Nice one mate.

The city reach has long been underrated. I have seen a guy pull bream after bream out from under the good will bridge. I have also got a photo of a massive threaddy from the same location. The pilons under the willian jolly bridge are also meant to be good for Jew.
