Is there any info about on the size of boats on trailers?

Thinking of a runabout about 4.5m long (Stessco Skipper 450DLX). Need to know if it will fit in me garage.

Is there a rough guide on what to add to a hull length to include trailer and outboard sticking out?

What about height, or is this all dependent on the trailer etc etc.

No boat on the horizon at the moment, just doing the ground work and obviously putting it in the garage is paramount!

Not sure about length as like you said every trailer setup is different but you can get trailers that are set up with a swing away or shortenable draw bar.

mate shoot down to wondall rd marine and ask if you can run a tape over one . was one there a few months ago not sure if they still have one there

if it helps i can run the tape from prop to hitch on mine in the morning ( 4.2 catcher )

I have a 4.5m boat on a trailer and it doesn't fit in a normal 2 bay garage. I think mine on a trailer is about 5.8m tip to tip

A 4.5 is unlikely to fit in a std Garage.

Tricks are motor vertical, on full lock, Push nose of trailer sideways once in the shed, or as mentioned swing away front section on trailer. None of which save you a huge amount, but might make the difference between sitting in the front yard and going in the shed.
