hey looks like a great site and forum

used to go fishing alot of a young kid with father, and now days looking at getting back in to it as an adult. i would say im a newbie, but do know how to rig, bait and cast a rod. am needing to look up what size hooks and lines to use on rods.

did try out fishing down at cabbage tree point yesterday, and down under logan village bridge today. not that had any luck. cabbage tree was pretty packed out it being a long weekend, so that's why tryed some place abit more local today.

any tips on some good Shore or River fishing would be great. along with tips on what size line and set ups, along with what baits for some area's or size of lure to use

looking forward to using this site to keep up today on some places and to know what seasons for what areas best suited

ya tryed that today, and had the right gear setup for it but looks like i missed season for it. October to April season for bull sharks right?

na no season that i no of jsut the right place at the right time and the hotter the day the better also try the back way from loganvillage to m1 theres a river on the corner of beudesert beenliegh rd and stanmore rd theres the old cement bridge you can walk along good spot for bream good luck mate
