Bribie Island

well here goes the report !!! we hit the passage later than expectedas the friends with the other boat over slept!!! good start. we hit the water about 7.30 and went for a run up the passage to make sure there boat was ok then we headed back and into the bay-little bit choppy but great we stopped to see if there was any birds workin only to be told they had no safty equipment/fishing gear they left it behind.

so we headed in and pulled up on a bank to have a bbq breakfast so i threw a line out hopin!!!wasnt long and the rod bent double-tuna i thought i seen a boil in the water as my line screamed off the reel i was goin to get the 1st fish in the boat-well 10 minuits later the biggest stingray came to the surface still a fish (kind of.)

lol funny when you get days like that. Pretty easy to forget gear if you dont leave it in the boat. Good to get out on the water anyways.

At least you got a bit of a fight out of the ray. Those suckers stick to the bottom like nothing else.
