queensland Anyone fishing on the Goldie tomorrow?

Got the day off work tomoz cuase its quite. :cheer: Not gonna sit at home and listen to the rain so going to get out in it and try catch a few. Got to drop the missus at cooly airport at 6am.

Not sure whether to put the boat in the broadwater or tweed.

I could chase the tailor in the broady Youngy was talkin about or try some new ground down the tweed.

Decisions decisions.

Anyone else going out?

Hi Greenmachine, Tailor will still be there tomorrow but from the weather report and the wind we have here at present it could be a big ugly on the water, cheers wayne

Thanks Youngy. Cohen hit me up to head out this arvo to chase them in the rain but I was still working. Feeling like I've missed out so rain hail or shine I'm heading out tomorrow! I would only sit at home and watch fishing videos anyway :silly:

I went down to Burleigh heads on Monday morning to try spinning slugs at tailor for the first time. I got 4 just above legal and dropped 3 trying to lift them out of the water.

There was also a boat trolling 70-100m from shoreline and they were picking up heaps more tailor than the land based anglers.

Not sure if that helps, but I thought I'd throw it up.

Had a quick land based flick down the tweed for a nice 55cm odd flattie on sunrise and then Cohen and I did some trolling in the broady after lunch untill the weather got the better of us. Picked up about 10 between us and 5 came home for a feed
