daiwa certate finesse custom 2004. comes with box, original knob and T knob, papers, gold RCS reel dress up kit (except the base plate), original dress parts and sol 2000 spool. The reel is by no means new and doesnt have the airy smoothness of a new certate because the main and drive gear were replaced by Jones Tackle (making the reel stronger but giving it a more 'meshing' feeling). Reel is still smooth but occasionally the anti-reverse fails which means that a new anti reverse spring/bearing is needed in the future. The reel is corrosion free and has been washed ever trip. This reel is still functional but just needs one new part. asking $170.00

Daiwa seagate light 3500 Digigear: Airbail, Twistbuster II, ABS, CRBB, Titanium nitride ball bearing line roller, Infinite anti-reverse, Machined aluminum power handle and Hyper tournament water resistant drag system. Reel fishes 6kg of drag perfect for 20lb / 30lb+ braid. Reel is brand new never never seen water and has never been spooled. paid 350 selling for $250.

Was the certates gearing replaced with original gears or the hyper gears?

I dont think they make hd gears for 2000 size only 2500R and bigger.

yer tristan your right there is no need for hd gearing in a 2000 reel would make it extremely heavy. Price drop on the seagate. $225
