Post rain session thoughts

Was chatting with a few mates about the idea of going for a session on Monday or Tuesday once the lightning passes and there was a bit of debate on what would be best to target after some decent rain like we've had. The general concensus was to concentrate on the high tide but there was no conclusion on what to target so i thought i'd put it out there and see what people think.

me personally i like to target flattys with bright lures, right on a low tide casting into deep holes and jigging the plastics with a 1/4 or 1/2 ouncs jigheads off the bottom. ive heard the jacks can fire up after rain although ive not had luck with them after heavy rain. the only one i really do is flattys
