queensland Off Straddie 28th Dec

Took a couple of mates off Straddie last week hoping to get them onto some blacks and wahoo. After crossing a good spb we set the riggers and a spread and started the troll. No more than 5min in there's a nice sounding scream and we're on. Not long later we've got a nice little black boat side and a couple of quick pics and released unharmed. Headed wider in search of bait and warmer water, got quite a few hits, landed some wahoo, striped tuna, little Dollie and lost some skirts to sharp teeth. Stopped on way back in across the bay picked up the pots we dropped on way out and added some sandies to menu. Great day on the water good laughs and can't wait for more in 2013.
