resolved chat room icon?

Just woundering if we could have an icon placed beside our name when in the chat room? When I first joined we had them but they seemed to have gone now.

Would make life a lot easyer

Yeh like on the members online list on the front page. If you were in chat, it said \"in chat\" next to your name with a little speech bubble.

Saves going to the chatroom to see if there is anyone in there.

yes this is planned, however it is a different chat system from the previous one and so we need to do a bit more work to have this feature. however it is planned... eventually

The \"chat room down\" thread has been locked so I thought I'd tack this on here.

This is the response I get when trying to enter the chatroom -

Not Found

The requested URL /chatroom/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Maybe it's a Firefox thing ? I've noticed F/Fox doesn't play ball as well as IE7 with a few things, even though it's quicker.

do a deep refresh (so in IE that is a ctrl F5 not sure what it is on a mac or firefox. but you need to access the current site not one cached in your computer.

I have tried without success in both IE7 and F/Fox:( Any tips ?

Maybe I'm not doing the right thing/s.

Feral (or any other Firefox using computer-smart member) don't hold back on the tips for Firefox methods:unsure:

Ellicat, tried it, same error,dont think it is a cache issue, ( as I have not tried to access the chatroom in a long long time, so it should not be in my cache?) nor is there a problem with the domain name servers not updating correctly to the new location yet. I used the raw IP address and get the same result.

ok, so please fill me in with more details. is this only a firefox error or is it happening in IE. the more information the better, as we can access the chatroom without any problems.
