Cavitation plate thingy?

Righto, first thing I have no idea of the name of this part but its to do with the cavitation plate, the thing that helps the motor track true (without steering). I have a shiney new motor on my boat, when I picked it up the bloke mentioned if it does not track right then you simply adjust the thingy to suit. I did this but the thingy is loose so my question is how does one tighten the loose thingy, otherwise it just flaps about. Sorry if none of this has made sense.

PS I would take it back but the dealer is in Airlie and I'm now in Gladstone.

Should be a plastic cap on the other side of the cav plate above it...bolt is in there.

Tighten it up and take it for a spin.

if it turns to the right when you let go of the tiller then adjust the rudder "THINGY" to the right.

Just pretend it is a rudder on a boat.
