USA super fishing stores

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas or hints on what is good value in the big fishing stores in the usa? bass pro shop basspro.com

or cabelas cabelas.com

I normally buy reels and terminal tackle, but I seem to have enough of that to the point I still have two new reels from last time.

lures of all kinds, line, leaders, hooks etc. wouldn't bother with sinkers for obvious reasons!

thermals, if you're keen on being out all night/early mornings in winter.

not sure if the GPS/sounders are much better value considering warranty hassles with having to send them back overseas if you have a problem with it.

I'll be over there in less than a month so i will be checking both BassPro and Cabelas out as they are 30 minutes and 1.5 hours respectively from where i'll be staying.

I'll come back pretty will stocked up for a while :evil:

Clothing is always an option, I buy a lot of T-shirts from American Legacy Fishing in heavy cotton.

Spent 200 bux and they give free postage.

Definately lures, soft plastics etc are soooooo much cheaper. I wish that i got more when i went.
