G'day fellas,

Just a quick one to introduce myself. My name is Allan and I have just moved to the Scenic Rim. About 15 mins from Lake Maroon to be precise.

I mostly flick lures around for Bass and other natives out of my 4.1m Polycraft. If there are any other members in the area or fish Maroon regularly, feel free to get in touch I'd love to pick your brain.

I also work night shift up in Brisbane during the week. So I plan to drag the boat up and try and get amounst it before work.

I'm contemplating entering the Lake Maroon Fishing Classic next month, anyone else getting into it?

I've been stuck over on the west coast the last 7 years, so the comp will be a good opportunity to re-learn the art of bass fishing from some of you seasoned specialist.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can. I'll be the guy with the very inconspicuous fluro green Polycraft challenger.
