Went to Western arm this morning with Matt and Tai.

Took a while to find as school as we only had 14 fish on the counter at 10 am when we decided to try in amongst the trees on Ians island where things picked up until we ran out of shrimp at midday. Smallest just under 30 and largest 40 apart from a few largish tandans.

any thoughts on the cable tie and red 'whatever'?

Been told that cable tie is some bogans idea of tagging. The red is the sore from the cable tie.

Thanks Ray. I must need new glasses. When I first looked at the photo, my eyes tricked me into thinking, red plastic with 2 pieces of trimmed wire protruding from the top right hand side,now I see it is marks on the fish.
