queensland Sunshine Coast Bass

Got the word from a few that the bass were active up on the sunshine coast, so I thought I would investigate this morning. Arrived to a gloomy looking bit of water and launched the tinny. I hadnt gone 50mt when I hooked into a nice 40+cm bass, then lost it when I went for the net. Then in the next 50 mt I caught a smaller bass and a eel on lure.

Found a likely spot for a bait session and got stuck into them boy were they hungry. After a few dozen decided to go for another troll and picked up a few more along the edges. Bass on lures were smaller than the bass caught on shrimp. Managed 74 with 21 of them on lures, oh and one yella.
