Quintrex floorboards

Hi,

I recently found that two of the rear floor boards on my quintrex spirit 520 had rotted through. Just wondering what everyones opinion might be on replacing them. Should I get new ones made, should I just get some checkerplate sheets made up or are there any other options available?

Go and buy some CD ply the same thickness and use your old boards as a template to cut out the new ones.

Seal them properly and fit them into the boat.

You can carpet them as well after they have been well sealed if you want carpet in the boat.

CD ply uses the same glues as marine ply bit 1/4 the price.
